How to book tickets in tatkal from Chandigarh

Here are the steps to book train tickets in tatkal from Chandigarh.

0 Take the tatkal form from any of the counters. You have to shout for it. Don't resist the initiative.

1 Reach the ticket booking counters first, next to ATM and new eatery run by IRCTC.

2 For AC timings 10am and For Sleeper 11am. But before that, add your name in the token list. Here people on their own make list to sort chaos. So ask anyone who is preparing the list on that particular day else they won't let you enter in the queue. Seriously!

3 Then the official guy comes in and makes the queue outside counter. Only for those whose names are on the list. He assigns you number on your list. Make a note of it.

4 After all this, they let you stand in two different queue. Divide and stand.

5 Finally you are allowed to stand in the tatkal queue. Now depending on your fate you will be given the confirmed ticket else waiting.

6 Usually 10-15 tickets are given on confirmed status rest all waiting.

This pretty much sum's up my first experience of booking a tatkal ticket in Chandigarh. If anyone looking to book their first tatkal ticket, you would find this post of mine very useful.

Sometimes all you can do is just breathe. A very good piece of advice if followed can break the path of monotony and freshness.

Do you think, we are not programmed for rest? Yes we are but only few knows, where and when to step.

Rest is history and misery. Our end goal should be to remain happy not just attached to goals one after the other. Have pursuits but with essence of life.

Bring goodness into life and your thoughts every day and then no one can stop you from rising.

Hold on there. Try to live one moment at a time. Give time to your senses to start working again undistracted.

Whatever it may be in your life troubling you, if you know how to sit relaxed for just 30 mins even, things will workout in your favour.

Listen to the sounds of birds chirping, children's playing in front of your house, conversations between two neighbours, vehicle coming closer and applying brakes, sound of clock ticking, leaves falling from the tree, your hand movements and more...

Shut all of the above for a while and just breathe. It is your day to celebrate and don't give it away.

Why do we have wishes and that too,  many. Well , I know the question is absurd akin to why boys not girls. It is just the way life is designed do.

To keep living God gave us the will of dreaming and having desires. The entire race of humans is following it.

But leave the world, let's get to my desires. Travel around the world, know about so many things and finally get detached from life. This would give me a lot of contentment.
